Budget carries various vans throughout all of our fleet but each individual location has a unique selection. That is why we are contacting Utah tourism and the attorney general. When our daughter called from the airport to complain to Budget, she was lied to and told this particular location was independently owned franchise and they could do nothing about it. Do not ever do rentals through Budget at Salt Lake City airport. If we were going to take the filthy van, we might as well have gotten the filthy Jeep. We went to the garage and long and behold many, many vehicles were there.
The man infront of us was told his (our ) Jeep would take an hour to clean besides.
We ended up paying that scam at $616.81! with our daughter's being even higher. We ended up with such clean outside of a van but dirty inside with other renter's masks still in the pockets.
Our Jeep Grand Cherokee was to be $488.29. Our daughter was to get a Suburban and was again upgraded for a fee.
